Mr Vangelis Floros works as Project Manager in GRNET S.A. since 2008. His area of expertise is large scale e-Infrastructures such as Cloud, Grid and High-Performance Computing (HPC). Recently he coordinated the procurement and installation of ARIS (Advanced Research Information System) national supercomputing facility and the development of two new Data Centers for GRNET, one at the building of Ministry of Education in Marousi and the other next to Louros river in Epirus. He is also team leader of the HPC support and operations team in GRNET. He holds a B.Sc. and a M.Sc. in Informatics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.
